CONJURING

At a very young age, Avijit watched a magician perform at a party and was immediately fascinated with this art form. From there on, it was a lifelong passion for him. In later years, he became fascinated with sleight of hand and in the adage that the 'hand could be faster than the eye'.

He started studying the art of close-up magic that required a lot of practice with complex sleight-of-hand maneuvers, with special focus of close-up card magic. Today, Avijit is a very adept close-up magician and his skills with a deck of cards is truly laudable. He also has a wonderful collection of literature on this art form.

For Avijit, conjuring is a very private passion and he sometimes (when in the right mood) demonstrates his skills to close family and friends.
